Hello; I just got my 2005 Silver Gray 545i (Sport package, winter package, nav)--simply awesome. Big step up from my previous car a 2002 BMW 330ci 5-speed. This forum is also very informative. Anyway, I was at the Atlanta Auto Show yesterday looking a cars competing with our beloved e60's. I looked at the E series, Audi A6, Lexus GS, Infiniti M45--nothing, I mean nothing even compares to our cars. I just can't believe that auto journalists can state the these are better cars ! (especially the M45 which I think is one of the ugliest new cars out there).

My Ride: 2002 330CIC with Sports and Premium (Sold 4/2005)
2005 545I Black Saphire Metalic, with Black Dakota Leather, Poplar trim. Sport Package, MTech Body kit and Spoiler, HUD, Comfort Seats, Navigation, Premium sound, CWP, Heated Rear Seats, Window shades. Valentine 1 hardwired, Aux input.
Welcome, and you are correct. This site should be listed in the manual as a resource. By the way, I did the same at the LA auto show, and nothing even comes close to the 545. Mine will be here in two weeks, and I am a little curious how it will compare to the 330 convert that I am driving today.

i'm joking but I've been saying the same thing ever since i saw that "thing" they call a competitor to the beautiful E60.
