aFe vs Bimmian Cold Air Intake for E60 M5
#1
Anyone have an opinion on which CAI is better? aFe or Bimmian carbon fiber intake...being too loud isn't an issue but I would like to notice at least a slight performance increase and quality is a must.
I have an M5 coming at the end of October and want to get all the parts ready to go.

My Ride: 2005 530i upgraded to 2007 550i 12/20/06
Took delivery of 2008 M5 3/25/08 cf delete K&N filters, the rest stock.
I would not use either one. Remove the charcoal filters and stock air filter. Use K&N filters and the RPI scoops and you are set! Works great for me.
This is close to the best improvement vs the $$$ amount.

On a side note: The BMC Filters are dyno proven to be better than the K&N drop-ins simply for it's breathing surface area. The K&N's have much less usable surface area.

I agree with everyone else...I love my RPI scoops, best bang for the buck.

Are RFI scoops possible for e60?
Call Eloy as Kenny suggested above.
