As my 535d is now 4 years old .....I'm starting to get itchy feet and feel it's time for a change .

Would previously only have considered the M5 but here in the UK the M6 has taken a big hit in depreciation.

Late 2005 early 2006 M6's are down to ?35000 from a list price of ?82000 + extras

If the gas is not a factor, go for M5! Remember M5 is very thirsty.

I would go with the M5, but that's because I like the 4 door practicality and 'sleeper' element of a debadged M5

Personally I find the 6 series more sportive than the 5 one. So for same engine, I would definitely go for the M6 !

The 5 looks better, but the 6 is a sportier car.
So depends on requirements you ask the car.
