Looking at trading my 09 535ix for a 08 M5 with 36k on it.The car has the SMG and the executive package.Are there any known issues with this car that people are aware of? I love my 535, but am tempted by the possibility. :unsure:

whoa whats the executive package? We definitely don't have that here in the US.

The Executive package is side and rear sunshades,heated rear seats,M multi function seats and active seat bolsters.It also has heads up display and usb port.
It is lacking the heated steering wheel,lane departure warning and the 09 idrive which my car has, so I will be losing some features,but of course it is an M5.They are asking 69,000.Any opinions?

dude, I am getting a 2008 M5 with 70k km on it with all packages, for $45k CAD. They are ripping u off, keep looking or get a car from U.S much cheaper.

Is it CPO'ed? Make sure you get one that is CPO'ed. It's a MUST!

Not only a CPO is a must but also the price, With this price you could actually get an 09 or a 2010... GL

Have been looking at the same car you have been for some time. Not to hott on the colour but not too many choices in Ottawa and the surrounding area.

They are over pricing it for the year it is; and the kilometers it has. Im sure some one will buy it soley because it was bought from a certified BMW dealership. Rather than from a used car dealership in the states.
