Lately, I've been wanting more out of my 5. Drove an SMG M5 several months ago, and now after reading that DSC can be 90% switched off (i.e. "MDM-2" mode but not 100% DSC off) on a 6-speed, I'm thinking more and more about getting a 6-speed M5. As much fun as the 7-speed SMG is to paddle-shift, I can't live without a clutch pedal. Don't really care about all the talk that the SMG can shift faster than humanly possible. I still want a clutch pedal! Once the financials are in check by summers-end, I may actually pull the trigger. By then I may have accumulated about 35,000 to 40,000 on my Dinan5. Curious as to how much my car would fetch at that time with all the Dinan mods I've done to it ... minus the rims and strut bar which I plan to put on the M5. Any thoughts? ECF, you reading???
