Have you looked into upgrading to slotted/drilled rotors, ceramic pads, and ss brake hoses? Makes a big difference while keeping all your oem xi parts.

I just purchased an e60 M5 rear swaybar for my 2010 535xi Sport! Will be installing it shortly. Also, I bought a set of e60 M5 wheels,....they're going on too once the correct size tires are purchased.

Future plans:
Larger FMIC
Charge pipe
DICs
Down pipes,....possibly, but only if I can go with larger CATs downstream! (Car must be able to past emissions in VA).
MHD Stage 2 tune

Edit: I'm somewhat building the 2010 535 version of the 2018 F90 M5,...but of course, only in 535xi flavor!

JMD535, Were you successful installing the e60 M5 Sway bar on your 2010 e61 535i X-Drive? I have researched and believe it is possible to upgrade my 2009 e61 535i XDrive, but wanted to check on your confirmation. Thank you in advance and I need to dial in the rear-end roll big time.

I did it a couple of years ago with one from ebay.
I didn't need to jack the car at all to do. Super easy.

Thank you. Did the highway ride change and cause the car to ride rougher? It appears to be the same shape excluding the bar diameter increase from 12mm. Is this correct or did it require new Anti-roll linkage?

Get the Dinan rear sway bar. It's larger than the E60 M5 bar.

The M5 was 18mm and $81 dollars on ebay so I figured why not,
I installed H&R springs about the same time so it was firmer all around. It came with links that looked new so I used them.
You have to pay to play. I did it on the cheap but it has to be a wee bit better than stock. Do I notice it with my driving? not really.
Springs lowering and the bar helped tighten corners. It isnt your cushy ride anymore.
