06 M5 or 08 550i

I would say consider what your using it for, I'm looking to get back into a 550i and not the M5 even though i really want to... its not good for everyday driving, seeing how john(motorconcept) and other friends go through gas the 550 was a better choice for me, + wouldnt be able to use the V10 that much unless im at the meets or track and im sure the 550 would be more than accomadating lol

Thanks all, maybe i dont really need an M5 its too power and i cant take it for a daily ride. the 550i might be better for me.
but 70k miles is that too high.

Look, for a daily driver, jack of all trades car, the 550 is a fantastic choice. I love mine. At times I have longer for the top end power of the M5 but my friends that have it don't seem to use it as a daily driver. I get the feeling that if you want a super powerful DD, the E63 might be a better choice than the E60 M5 (although not on the track or on the twisties).
