another good source is: http://www.bmwpartspros.com/

it's the Steve Thomas BMW dealership in camarillo, ca...they usually are as good as getbmwparts..only difference being the state tax on sales...but might be a good option for local members are tax and shipping can tend to cancel each other out...

rockauto.com

Had to change a fuel pump in my wife's car. dealer wanted 650 + 300 labor. same one from Rockauto.com for 280 shipped + 120 labor (Friend is a master tech @ BMW)

I changed my whole cooling in my 540i. radiator, valley pan, thermostat, hoses, water pump, valve gasket covers, spark plugs, oil change, transmission oil change, rear differential oil change. dealership wanted $5,500 for everything installed. Bought everything from Rockauto.com and had my buddy who is a master tech for BMW do it for me. $2000, parts and labor .

I currently am having a weird idle on my 550 at times. I have read from many people that this is a spark plug issue. Dealer said no check engine light, cant do anything. If I wanted to change my spark plugs to verify my issue dealer said it will cost me $600 parts and labor. Parts alone were $32 for each spark plug. parts were about $270 with tax. I got the model number of the plugs that are used in my vehicle and had them shipped to my house for $85 for all 8. Changing them tomorrow too.

Rockauto.com is my favorite part website. I like to support site vendors, and I also like to save as much as I can. Who ever gets me the best deal is the one who gets my business, THE END.
