I have a friend who would like to install SSR GT-3 wheels on his E60 525i and has asked me what I thought about the wheel. I've never used the wheels before, so I ask anyone who has used them for some info on strength/durability, quality, and anything else that would be helpful. Much thanks!

I too heard that the wheel is soft. Saw them on a M5 once on a biz trip to L.A., and they looked really good though~

I had them on my 2001 S4. They looked awesome and they did bend once, going over a monster whole in Boston...Ouch! Still relatively strong in my opinion. I would get them again but I don't want to duplicate the look.

I like the look of them. I thought about getting a set for the 528i M Sport I have on order, but decided to order the BMW Style 167 M wheels (M5 offsets).

More common on the E39s and the E46s...
