Highly not recomended !
Decreasing your power consumption is okay but increasing it calls for a lot of stuff including but not limited to
1. The Guage of wire used -- It might only support a max of 45 watts -- In this case you will burn or melt your wires trying to use a 50 watt consumer.
2. This car is highly computerized, you never know what it might triger with the computer if you make the switch
3. Dont forget the heat factor - a 50 watt is surely going to produce way too much more heat.
If you want to set up a relay and wire it off that, then I would say its a safe bet with the wireing part, however you might have Idrive throwing error msgs telling you that your bulbs are out. Lets see. . . . I guess connecting an error canceller might solve your problem then but the heat aspect still stays.
Stick with Max 35watt -- The 50 Watt are way to bright and annoying to both the drivers ahead of you and oncoming traffic.
Good Luck
