I found a used xenon headlight...The only thing is it DOES NOT COME WITH XENON BULB, IGNITER, CONTROL BOX or ACTIVE LIGHT CONTROL BOX UNDER LAMP...How hard is that to swap over from my old light to the new one...My light has cosmetic damage and thats why I'm replacing it....Also is there anything I need to look at before I buy this light? The tabs are good...

Thanks
Ryan

I dont think the swap would be very difficult. The ballast (which is on the bottom of the light) will just unscrew and screw into the new light housing.

As far as the igniter and bulb - I personally have not removed these but dont suspect it being too difficult that many people on this forum have replaced the stock bulb with an upgraded bulb.

I think you should be more worried about the cost of the unit....

See below. I am pretty sure in the ignitor just turns counterclockwise or clockwise and comes apart. Then the bulb should come out .

If it's a D1S Bulb, then it wont come apart. The Ignitor is physically built into the bulb.

I've tried myself.

Hey, as long as you got the correct headlight, its definitely a direct swap. Just make sure you dont get the headlight with a different lowbeam bulb.

Good luck.
