Hi Guys

I tried searching the forums for a direct answer but couldn't find it.
Can xenon be fitted instead of normal yellow bulbs in the Fog lights without harming the car's computer system? in my country people are kind of unprofessional concerning new sophisticated cars so some said its ok and others said no i hope someone can give me the wright answer

Thanks in advance

Of course they can, I have Xenon/HID everything lol, angel eyes headlight, foglight and reverse lights,
contact John@motorcepts he is a trusted member on the forum, and lighting guru, also Trinity Autosport (nerweezy) great guys

you definitely can do it, a lot of guys on here have them including myself. All you need is a pair of aftermarket bulbs and ballast and also a pair of code cancellors and you are good to go.

I know they can i'm just concerned since here in lebanon most HID lamps are low quality (but i found some good ones) and as i said some told me that it could do damage to my car's system.

Sorry if I didn't make this clear, many of us have them with no damage to our cars. Below is the link to where I bought mine.

Thx a lot!!!
i will go for it but one last question i know it is a 12v/35w bulb but how can i know what color according to my headlamps?

cleung 04-25-2011 07:44 AM

when choosing the colors, our oem HID headlights are 4300k, most guys on here like to swap them for 6000k which gives it a very white color. Some guys go to 8000k which has a blue tint to it, I would not suggest going any further than 8000k as you will get noticably less visible light.
