XCarLink for iPhone

Came across this product while searching for ways to integrate my iPhone 4s to my 5er http://www.xcarlink.co.uk/ Would this be possible to install to the stock radio and would any programming be necessary?

Actually there's another one, for full integration into iDrive (I mean w/ no additional remote control and/or separate screen etc) it's called "mObridge" ... but I installed Dension GW500 over 3 years ago w/o even considering the other 2, Dension GW500 the only one give USB port and has no song limitation problem like the OEM (dunno about mObridge) and I've been very happy w/ Dension.

My Ride: 530Xi 2007, Mods: logic 7, HUD, CIC+Combox+Snap-in Media, Rear view camera, SAT, NiVi, Stop&Go, KVv3, R1 brake rotors, RPI exhaust, M-package, High beam assist.
Plans: ventilated seats.
