The reddish rectangular thingy is an LED display. It has a stop watch function, and lap time split function. I don't think it has a RPM band indication though , which would have bee the most logical thing to put in it....

This was originally on the 135 tii show car. It is now in the performance parts for the E8x's and E 9x's.... it's also Hella expensive. Has Alcantra raping on it, like the old S4's...

If anyone is ready to buy this then I'll try my hand at retrofitting it on the E60. But normally I'd say Fred probably has already done it - he's the man who invented the wheel for the E60
