hi all. a newbie is looking for help again.

my current stockers are at the end of their lives due to unbalance tire wear. so i am thinking while changing the tire, i should probably change the rim as well.

come across this rim and i am pretty interested in it.

AC Schnitzer type III rims in absolutely mint condition with no curbage or any scratches. These 19" rims are 8.5" wide with the regular BMW bolt pattern of 5x120 and an offset of 15.

first of all, is it the correct offset? i was told by the dealer that offset should be 28 or 32.
if the offset it right, i am thinking 245/35/19 front and 275/30/19 rear. since the rims are not staggered, can i do it? or i would have to do 245/35/19 all around?

btw, here is the pics of the rim on the car and off the car, how does it look? and how much do you think they worth? just all 4 flawless rims alone.

AC SCHNITZER made the type III rims with right offset for e60 and you should not be worry about the fitments if they are the real ones but I believe they are not cheap but very expensive.

Did JIMMY still have his Dinan 540?

It should fit. If you run into any problems clearing the brakes, you can just use some spacers.

Time out, E39 wheels have a different hub size then almost all other BMW's. I don't know which car has the bigger hubs but assuming it's the E39 you would need centering rings or hub centric spacers. If the E60 has the bigger hubs they won't work.

You absolutely need to have the wheels perfectly centered or you will get nasty vibration (don't ask how I know )...

The E39 has bigger hub than the E60.

You need to get the 74.1 to 72.6 hubring. These things are pretty cheap, 10-20bux shipped for the set. As far as offset, it might be sunken in a bit, but will work fine. If you want it flush, you can always look to get some spacers.

If the hubrings are metal make sure you grease the hubs before installing them or it wil be a huge PITA to get them off, same thing for the spacers.
