Would DVD player fit in the small space

I know that there are descriptions here on the forum that no DVD player would fit into that space - but there is professional Audio/Video shop in Melbourne who claims he can fit a DVD player from NesaVision (DVD 8000) in that space. He claims he has already done one. Any one challenging him??

I'd challenge him to do it for $1000 on car with CCC w/o removing it. Look here:

With MAS-K, Merzbow did his. In case of MAS-K, the frame that hold MAS-K has one extra DIN slot below CD/MAS-K player.
You can fit 1/2 DIN DVD player in glove box.

My car has a small space in this place so I'm not sure if it has a CCC? (sorry for my ignorance). I suppose I have to actually see that car in which he fitted it to believe him....
