LOL. Thanks for the words Ted. I totally would not have guessed it's you by your handle, hahaha.

I've tried many LED AE bulbs but no success. The light was too weak. Almost invisible in the day light.

You must change the entire AE fiber?

Simon, thank you for NOT living around NYC - I would be spending all kinds of money, if you were within driving distance, man!

I've done my reading

Gone through pretty much every Orion V2 thread on here - I also distinctly remember reading the thread of your first Orion install back in 2009!
I'm sure you've opted to something other than a soldering iron by now

Was just wondering if your re-sealing methods have changed since the last few times you've done it.

Which is why I'm gonna be up bright and early and probably work 'till the evening. Maybe a few bbq'd burgers halfway through though.

One small comment for this mod though...
You have balls of steel for doing this! My biggest fear with one of these would be that I'd do it and wouldn't like it, and then I'm stuck with no way back. I'd be curious to see what your planning consists of (if any).

Yes. For this particular mod, that was done. I have toyed with the idea of a different set up in my mind, but without an extra set of headlights, it's not easy to test.

Thanks man, perhaps one day when it itches you'll go HID AE -> Orions?

Haha, as long as you can down with your headlights for a few days! The time it takes for shipping really, since I can finish in a day. I currently have two members' headlights from East Coast; people just send them in from all over
