Well, likely not more noise. You're not removing the airbox. You might get a smidgeon more power. Remains to be seen.
Doesn't K&N have drop-in pancake filters for the E60 cars??? Who cares if they require re-oiling after you wash the filter - at $40, just replace after it gets heavily soiled if you're worried about re-oiling.

Until end of the year -I asked for you - HAMANN will come out with the ones for 545i and 550i too.
This one is of course only good for M5 and M6 as in title, thx. Alex_br will soon have that too so he can report on all, he will have a min. xtra 60 hp thx to his visit to HAMANN HQ.
