I've had Madeira trim sitting in the basement for far too long and I'm finally ready to jump in and replace the dash at least. I found videos and guides for the pre-lci long dash part but not for the driver's side. Specifically, I haven't found any guides on removing the vent from the wood trim. My car has a chrome line on the vent guides and the replacement trim does not. If I really doesn't bother me, I could just swap but I know that I'll always notice that one side is black while the other is black & sliver.
Between all the clips and rigidity, it feels imposing. How does the trim come off?
Is it worth it?
