Hi guys, i need some help here as i am lost.
i took out my wood trim and found the screw bolt as shown.

However for the aluminum trim, it is unable to fit in the screw as the back of the trim is different from the wood. However, realoem and my local dealer are telling me that the screw is the correct part for the aluminum trim. hence can any kind soul tell me which is the correct part to use if you also encountered this before.
I bought the trim used so have this prob. Thanks.

Hi.
You will need 4 pieces of plugs/bolts that are slided into those plastic holders. They look the same as what you already have, but the bottom is different on them. The bottom is a flat square that can be slided into that plastic holder. Sorry I'm not sure about the part number.

atucally the dealer look through many cars, pre lci,lci and even f10 and non of the interior trim bolt can fit into those plastic holder. In the end, he find some plastic part that can fit( an its from other model and for different use). But still i am very curious and wants to find the actual part for it. Thanks.

Mine is also from a M5. I cant believe it. The annoying cracking sound i experience whenever i turn up the slope from my basement carpark is gone after changing the trim. How is this even possible but i m so happy.
