Wood/leather shift knob

Hi,
Anyone has wood/leather Steptronic shift know, would you please let me know if the wood color match with poplar woodtrim or is it slightly different? I went through the gallery and cannot make the judgement due to camera flash.

It should be the same shade, probably slightly different grain. I'm trying to get the same in light poplar but they're not available yet.

I have it and it is a pretty good match, certainly nothing that causes you to take a second look. Now if I had it off and held it up to the poplar on my dash you might be able to notice it, but I really doubt it. It looks great, should have done it long ago. Also waiting to have my center dash wood (around cubby hole) installed when I bring the car in for the new door seals, just don't have time right now. When I ordered the piece, the parts manager warned me that when they pick the wood at the factory, they are careful to match the shades in all the pieces, but that by ordering this new piece seperately, there could be a slight difference. I have the part, but have not taken it out of the box yet to see how it matches. Will do it later today and let you know how that piece looks.

I ordered a Poplar shift knob, and it didn't match - it was way lighter than my other trim. So the dealer sent it back and the next one matched beautifully. I would just order, and if it's not right, get another one.
