Hi everyone,

I finally got the BMS Power Box and Rpi Induction Kit and tried to fit them to my car... And I found that non of them will fit! It is so frustrating...

The PBX wont fit because I have a ECU which was installed to only few pre-2006 e60, I am so bloody unlucky.

As for Rpi, the scoop wont fit because I have kind of curtains between front grills and the readiator. I reckon those are used in climate control. Opened in summer and closed in winter. So there is no space for the scoop...

And I also recieved a wrong BMC filter...

I have EU e60 2004 530i...

Just wanted to share my frustration

Can you remove the curtain that is obstructing the RPI scoop?

They can be removed. It requires removing the whole bumper though. But I just dont want to do it cuz I think if it is there, it should be there and I will definately not make anything better by removing it in order to place this damn scoop...

By the way, I was so stupid when buying Euro Overlays. I totally forgot that I have a EU BMW

Instead of BMS PBX I am thinking to go for Sprint Booster 2nd Generation.

Hope that one will make me a bit happier

i managed to remove the flap, "Flap behind the kidney grill"
you have to remove the bumper in order to remove the flap..
for my car (2004 520i) there is only 1 scoop that can be fitted, its on the left hand side of the grill..

Unfortunately, the RPI scoops do not fit the 2004 530i because of the front grille/radiator design. I also learned this after purchasing a scoop.

Also you should have known that the M54 motor does not work with the power box, only the N51/2/3's....
