This should not come as a big surprise but, if you plan on using Tirerack for your winter wheels and tires, you should hurry.

I just got off the phone placing my order. Out of the Dunlop M3 (I wanted 17 in) for the season. I got the Michelin Alpin PA2's instead and was told that there were literally only a few sets left of these and the other popular winter performance tires. If you want them, better hurry.

Just put mine on at 1:00 today. Is that late enough??

BTW, I never realized how noisy the Dulops were. I was never expecting the snow tires to be quieter. Now I can hear the exhaust even better.

You got it wolverine! I'll be putting mine on in my garage only after the first significant snowfall.

The hard part is figuring out when to take them off!!

I just looked at the weather channel and it appears that the snow tires won't be necessary for at least another week.

I also have garage space so will be waiting as long as I can. I am looking forward to getting rid of the noisy runflats though. Will be replacing them in the spring as well.
