Last night my rear passenger window completly fell of its track. I can only move it up or down manualy, but can hear the motor grinding inside the door sil. Any ideas? Any DIY's on this or what the cost from the stealer will be. Car is 2,000 miles out of warranty gonna try and get a goodwill deal, but you guys know how that is probaly gonna pan out to be. Thanks in advance.

my passenger front went out. I think the dealership charged me a little less than 500. Just
give em a call and they will be able to quote a price.
as far as a diy, i can usually handle small repairs but Ive tried to do windows in the past
and just hate it. worth it to me to bring it to the dealer.

Its more likely the regulator piece that the clips broke off of and the window is now off the track. Super common problem on a E46 I use to own. Its very simple to do.
