WILL MY 20" RIMS FIT. HELP PLEASE
#1
I own a 2008 528i and did not get the sport option. I would like to upgrade the stock 17" rims to 20" rims and was able to get 4 rims/tires that orginally are for the 7 series. The rims are BMW 7 series rims - M class Cross Spoke 20". The front tires are 245/40 and the rear tires are 275/35. I am not sure if these rims/tires would fit my 528i. I would appreciate any advise on what tires I should buy and will there be any problems if install these rims on my 528i. thanks

Do some studying first G ME 5,
Have you done the Search on this site?
Are your roads good enough for 20 inchers?
Do you even know what you're doing and why?

My Ride: 535d Sport, carbon black, media pack, visibility pack, grey leather, heated seats, sun protection glass, voice control, Eibach ProKit, 19" 166 style wheels, e-maps ECU remap to 325hp and 640NM, top speed limiter removed
wheels sizes and offsets are fine (you could even use some little spacers to make them sit nicer in the front (5mm), but not necessary)
Your biggest problem is that the tire sizes are wrong. Much too high aspect ration.
This wheel tire combo will be 2 inch more in diameter than a standard E60 wheel.
If you fit the correct tires, they'll be fine

The roads that I use are good enough for 20", And I have done some research. I just want to get some help from people with first hand knowledge about the E60. I love the way these rims look and would love to see them on my car.

G ME 5, the most common tire size for 20x9 and 20x10 wheels for the E60 is 245/35/20 and 275/30/20.
100% correct conversion on tyre size would be 245/30/20 front (or 255/30/20) and 285/25/20 rear (or 295/25/20)
Nevertheless, these sizes look like painted rim edges in terms of rubber on the wheel and are pretty harsh. With the 24 offsets on the rear, neither the 285, nor the 295 should catch on the arches, although the 295 will be very close
