Do you mean rubbing on the struts or on the arches ? If rubbing on the arches is meant, then spacers will push out the wheel further and increase the rubbing.

The offsets are perfectly fine for the E60. The closest you can get to stock rolling dia and circumference would be by using 255/30/21 and 295/25/21
These will still be just over 4% out, but comparable to the oversized 20" combo many on here drive in terms of size. the sizes you mention would be about just under 8% out and certainly not be really safe.
245 front and 285 rear with these aspect ratios would be better, but I have never seen these sizes in 21"
They will fit, but the question really is if it is worth the hassle. Not only are 21" mightily expensive, but 21's will also be an absolute killer to your ride, as they will massively increase the unsprung weight and make it very bouncy in handling terms.

But just the wheel and offset parameters are a perfect fit for an E60.

thanks for the write up my decision is still up in the air .. and comtemplating all these facts... i know people go 20" and ive even seen 22" asanti's on e60's with no problems is there something different about stock wheels in 21"s than aftermarket 21"s that im missing here.. because i think that lowering the car a bit would make it look fine and not give it a 4x4 look.. then again how low i can go without rubbing or other problems ect im not sure. 1 reason i really want to do is NO one else has them (but then again theres a reason no 1 has them) maybe i just need to be the guinea pig and if it looks good and works out maybe more e60'ers will try these.

Yea I meant 245 30 21

245 35 21 will ride super high and I doubt it will fit.

ohh ok well fount this guys car on cardomain while searching .. and i dont see how I can look like a 4x4 when this guys sitting on 22's and it looks fine to me. maybe without the lowering yes definetly id be riding high but lowering a bit i think it'll look hot.

here's this guys tire size combo F 245/30/22 - R 285/25/22 i dont however know his offset but u guys are telling me the offset shouldn't be a big deal.

here's his car.. tell me what u guys think.

I believe that is Wheelzplus' ride. We are saying you would look like a 4x4 with the tire sizes you initially mentioned: Front: 245 / 35 / 21, Rear: 285 / 30 / 21. Both xexyus and I said that 245/30/21 and 275/25/21 or 285/25/21 will be okay. I don't know if there will be room to lower the car but you can try.

ohhh ok got ya..... i though that comment of 4x4 came more from just being 21"s not tire sizes.. ok so bassically 30's in the front and 25's in the back will do it. if it is wheelsplus hope he dosent mind his pics as reference .. but he's lowerd on H&R sport springs and those where going to be my choice of springs in the 1st place so me lowering it should look very similar to him if i go thru with this.

ok reason 1263456168741 for me to get the 19"s searched tirerack, discounttiredirect, and other sources for these sizes 245/30/21 275/25/21 or 285/25/21 and came up empty.. no tires found. looks like this is gonna be harder than i thought i should just get the 19"s.

Its a rare tire size but I believe Pirelli and Michelin makes that. I wouldnt do 19s for sure, if anything 20s and up. Im sure you would definitly regret doing 19s if your looking at 21s. And as far as ride quality, its all the same in all honesty. Ive had 19 and ive had a bunch of 20s, same ride.

I have a feeling id be happier with the 21"s also im having alot of trouble finding tires though.. pirelli or michelin dosent make those.. they make 245/35/21 not 245/30/21 and neither of them make the rears at all... i will search it some more but if its too much of a head ache the 19"s are going on and i'll call it a day...

ok heres the verdict these are the only tires i could find in 21" 295/25/21 and 255/30/21

here's a car stitting on 21" lowenharts with these tires. i have no idea what his offset is but im assuming if the offset isnt a problem this is more or less how the car would look. what do you guys think should i go for it or get 19"s??? im still undecided.
