I really like the 128's and wondering if I can somehow get away with putting the 21" version for the 7 with some specific tire size..istead of getting the 19" version ,not sure if this has been attemted before but thought id ask, here are the specs...

Front.. 21x9 , 22MM Offset

Rear... 21x 10 , 25MM offset

and also these tire sizes..
Front: 245 / 35 / 21
Rear: 285 / 30 / 21

I like the style but think the offsets are all wrong. I initially ordered these with my E63 but when it arrived the dealer received a memo from BMW corp to not install them on the E63. I would imagine that the same would hold true for the E60.

The offsets are off but not by much (about 2mm front and 3mm rear) . If rubbing occurs the offsets could be adjusted with the use of spacers. The bigger concern is tire size. The size you mention are ~2.1 inches taller then stock. Without other suspention mods, I think the car will look like a 4X4 with this setup. The tire size will also throw of you mph by 7.9% to slow (you indicated 60 mph will actually be 64.7 mph). The taller tires will change you final drive and make the car slower but top speed higher. The good news is the after driving 10000 miles your odometer will only show 9267 miles (good way to keep miles off your car).

Check HERE and HERE to see some tire size info and calculators.

I think with a little bit of work you could get these wheels to fit.

thanks for your reply that tire size calculator link is helpfull... i think im leaning towrds the 19"s since it seems its going to be less of a headache fitting them and 21" tires arent that cheap. i am definetly going to lower the car regardsless of which size i get but ive never seen the 21"s on an e60 lowerd i think it'll look good.

Im pretty sure it would fit with no problem as long as you can get a 345/30/21 in the front. The offsets seem ok

xexyus obviously meant 245/30/21 for the front and I agree. I also agree with Bad Bimr that if you choose to go with 245/35/21 and 285/30/21, you'll be riding as if you're on a 4X4.

Do you mean rubbing on the struts or on the arches ? If rubbing on the arches is meant, then spacers will push out the wheel further and increase the rubbing.

The offsets are perfectly fine for the E60. The closest you can get to stock rolling dia and circumference would be by using 255/30/21 and 295/25/21
These will still be just over 4% out, but comparable to the oversized 20" combo many on here drive in terms of size. the sizes you mention would be about just under 8% out and certainly not be really safe.
245 front and 285 rear with these aspect ratios would be better, but I have never seen these sizes in 21"
They will fit, but the question really is if it is worth the hassle. Not only are 21" mightily expensive, but 21's will also be an absolute killer to your ride, as they will massively increase the unsprung weight and make it very bouncy in handling terms.

But just the wheel and offset parameters are a perfect fit for an E60.
