Who would be interested in squared angel eyes rings?
 

We've been working on a new set of rings for the F30 that will be able to be used for the E60/E92/E46 (with modification) and some other models we've not yet announced.

It's kinda hard to imagine it at the moment, but I'm thinking that the entire light assy would need to be changed since square doesn't fit round... I do think this style of light would look interesting though.

yes, yes and yes. i have been waiting for someone to do this. i have fresh lci halogens if you want to cut into them and try it out as a faithful and repeat customer.. :D

Not my cup of tea. IMHO the sharp flowing design of the e60 headlight is complimented best with the round halo. I'm sure these would look good on the rectangular e39 headlights tho.

The problem is that squared lights are really more for the Audi look, possibly the new Camaro/American muscle cars or perhaps the new BMW 3 series but definitely not the 5 series — there is just not enough of that aggressive chiseled-jaw style.

Any chance you can make them to look like these from OSS?

That's exactly what I was thinking... Imitation is the best form of flattery.

OSS is using our technology to build a unique one off custom ring that is only being installed on local cars.

We're working together with them to come up with the same solution:)

But the i8 ones are laser based headlights :D

omg need this.. ive seen this via oss designs. put a pair of these in my e60! shut up and take my money! hahah

yeah, we're building a kit that will be available with cover on it and the iPhone/Ipad app.

Are you focusing on pre lci or lci e60s? Halogens or Xenons?

We are focusing on a universal fit for E60s with pre and post LCi. While not optimal the cost of development of this project is very high so initially we'll only have 2 offset sizes. Perhaps in the future, we may revisit and build a larger ring. But in any case, the rings will fit both lights.

If you guys need a test car to test them out, I'll be more than happy! ������

any photos with Orions DTM fitted on E60? When we can expect them. I already bought them on a pre-sale :thumbsup:
