Who is using Maya rims??? preferably RT5

i put my RT5's on yesterday and as usual the TPM came up saying TPM Malfunction 07 525i, I need the sensors if I am correct where should I buy and how much and where are they going to go

My Ride: E60 M5, F85 X5M
The ones on my MDX are part of the valve stem. I imagine it's pretty much the same with all TPMS sensors that are mounted on the wheels. The potential problem is that the size of the valve stem holes on some aftermarket wheels are not big enough to accept the TPMS sensors. Hope that's not the case with your Mayas.

I think you have to remove the tires to get at the sensors so that would mean having a tire shop do it for you.

All you have to do is reset the TPM and your good to go. I dont think you need to bother with sensors on the rims itself

On older model E60s, you can reset the FTM sensor through iDrive but with the newer models, there are individual sensors mounted within the wheels so you have to put those sensors on your new wheels.
