Well, there isn't much reason to modify an M5, what with 500 HP and all. But, if you've modded your 5 to be able to cross-swords with an M5, let's read about it and see it.

Same for 535 (which is pretty close to v8 performance in and of itself), 530, 528, 525, etc.. What have you done to make your car look better, ride smoother, ride harder (sporty), go faster?

If you have before an dafter dyno numbers, that'll be sweet too.

Lets make this a picture thread, if we can...

Guess you haven't been paying attention to what some M5 owners have done on here...

Modding a 5 series?? Preposterous... hahaha. j/k

My modded 5 is all show... Its only a 530i.. but looks nice. That's all that matters to me.

There's plenty of info for Mtech OEM kits, M5 replica front kits, Reiger Kit, ACS add on's for body kits and many more...

Suspension is a big thing too. You wouldn't want to have nice rims with a body kit and look like a 4x4 truck..

After everything... you've got lights, LEDS... there's plenty to change in the car and honestly, i've come to realize you can change any light you want in the car just as long as you have the hardware and LEDS to change it with.

Ours-

2004, 525i, Euro reflectors, tint, 19" Asanti wheels with 275/30/19 (Rear) and 245/35/19 (Front) BF Goodrich. BMW foormats (Yep, it seems the previous owner took his BMW floor mats, and put some Auto Zone specials in it before he traded it).

Nothing so far to make it go faster, but it does look a little better.

This is my wife's car, so that's probably all I'm going to do to it, unless I cram all this stereo equipment I have laying around into it.

Oh, I have noticed. Their list of mods 9and the results of them) is welcome too...

I'm just saying- 500 HP will slay many dragons, and is already near the top of the performance food chain stock, when it comes to performance, and real-world useability as a functional automobile for a family. There aren't many cars under $100,000 that can out perform an M5, and still carry 5 people.
