Videos of these two exhausts are not hard to find.

This one is a 335, but I would imagine the exhaust would be similar sound.

I myself plan to go with the RDsport because it costs considerably less money and looks hot with the M5 rear.

Wow I only heard air passing thru the 535 exhaust.Must be due to the turbo's?
Yeah.....I can't imagine there is any better reason to get the 550 V-8 than to listen to those "weak ass" sounding V-6 Turbos. ;-) JK you 535 owners.
On the serious tip....
Somebody please point me in the right direction to hear the Quad Exhaust Note for Eisenmann and Super Sprint.
Is there any noticeable difference from the two---sound and performance?
Thanks. It sounds like Eurorev's deal to do the Quad Exhaust-Diffuser and Matching paint is a good deal.
I'd really like to just get a diff sounding exhaust (dual or same set up as current dual)but just a different sound. I love the Remus sound here: http://www.bavauto.com/shop.asp
---Unfortunately nobody has another dual to fit the M-Tech Bumper/Aerokit. Everything that is made for it is Quad Exhaust due to it mostly being on the M5 until the 08 550's showed up. Bummer.

I wanted to get the Remus Dual Exhaust but unfortunately they don't make it for the M-Tech Aero Kit. The exhausts for it are for Quad Exhaust and the M5.
Does anybody know a work around or can offer a Dual Exhaust that will work with the M-Tech Aero Kit?

Any dual exhaust that fits on the stock bumper will fit the M-Tech bumper. This includes Remus, B&B, Eisenmann, Supersprint, RDSport, etc.
Eisenmann sound clip is here -

Not sure what you mean...Are you going duals or quads?
Duals!
Any dual exhaust that fits on the stock bumper will fit the M-Tech bumper. This includes Remus, B&B, Eisenmann, Supersprint, RDSport, etc.
Not true on the 08 Sport.(I've spoken to multiple parties on this) Only the Eisenmann will fit the stock M-Tech Rear Bumper diffuser/fitting found here:
http://www.eisenhaus.com/ehprice.php...&Submit=Submit
Any other and you have to cut it. (Robert at Eurorev was very helpful with his information and he echoed what others had told me previously)

What should I get?
Here is what is listed on the Eisenmann Website:
Avg %HP Gain Avg Flow Restr(Stk: 43%) Avg Snd Level(10 = loudest, stock avg = 2) Avg Wght Reduc %
Sport 4.1 - 4.7 % 26.1 - 28.8 % 3.3 - 4.7 28 - 37%
Racing 6.1 - 6.4 % 20.2 - 25.5 % 5.1 - 8.1 35 - 70%
Decibel Levels(below)
30-40 MPH 40-50 MPH 50-60 MPH 60-70 MPH 70-100 MPH
Stock 73 71 77 75 78
Sport 79 76 82 80 81
Racing 85 81 88 84 86
I'm also considering doing the EuroRev remapping instead of Dinan (due to Dinan being very painfully slow to get back to me and offer me a solution). Vincent mentioned to me performance enhancement of:
21HP and 21#'s TQ for 08 550i(he thinks). Anybody know anything about their remapping compared to Dinan? He says it won't void the warranty and that BMW can just do a simple ECU remapping when I sell/turn the car in and they will never know.
If you have any information about any of my questions or can offer commentary, please don't be shy. If I'm going to spend another 2k or so, I want to make sure I'm improving my car noticeably.

for the eisenmann, get the race. the sport has been known to be not much of a difference compared to stock. the race is decently loud, not too loud. if you still want more sound out of it, you always have the option of replacing resonators with straight piping. but i havent heard an eisenmann on a v8 yet except for iceman's m5 race exhaust. as for eurorev, my car was "chipped" by them also, and i trust them. the gain that they claim is pretty much it, and i could say that it was worth it for me. if the dealer ever reflashed your ecu, you could always go back to eurorev to have it reflashed by them again. hope this helps. good luck with the mods.

Thanks for your reply NeRwEEzy. Do you have a 550? Can anyone confirm the difference between:
- Dinan's ECU Reflash
- Eurorev's ECU Reflash
Also, would there really be any reason to get the new exhaust knowing I'm getting the ECU remapping? Is there a noticeable increase in sound with stock exhaust once the Remap is done?
Trying to weigh all options here.

I suggest you dyno your 550 before remapping and adding an exhaust. It's the only way to know if you got any gain at all with these two mods.
