I am looking for kidney grilles with metal (aluminum or steel) finish, maybe similar to the brushed aluminum trim on some sporty Audis .

They do not have to be made of metal - maybe just be sprayed in silver like normal alloys, but they have to be high-quality. For the vetical bars inside the grilles I have other plans - ideally they should be glossy black, to fit my high-gloss shadowline trim.. But I guess I can do that myself once I have metal-finish grilles.

I guess the combination will fit my car best. I have an E61 Individual in onyx-blue with shadowline and Individual wheels. Overall a very classy look and I want to slightly modify the front without destroying it with too much of a sporty look.

Thanks for any advice..

Or you could just buy a can of spray paint ($7), remove your current grill, and paint it. This could be done in less than a day and cost you much less than buy another set.

Whatever you end up doing, take pictures with the end result. I'm sure everyone would appreciate the eye candy!

In my opinion a dark blue car is begging for a matte black grille. But that is just me, here is a pic of my e46 with a black grille!

chrome!!!!
I do not like all of the black stuff people are adding to cars. Black window trim.... black grilles....black wheels...
Makes the car look like a test mule or a kia that the aluminum looking hubcaps have fallen off and you just see the black steel wheels.
