hi fellow members....just wondering if any one can beam in on where i can get my hands on a set of the carbon fiber inserts for the m5 mirrors.......used or new....

For this is the final piece to complete my mods. (going extremely broke...cannot sustain such an expensive habit)

I've been considering getting a set also but was deciding between silver or black. Maybe we can see if Revozport would give us a discount for two orders? haha

go Tony...
I vote for black. I'd go silver but painted, instead of CF.

nyuballer, replied your PM already hope it helps.

I just talked to Project Cars, Co Ltd. That's where I bought mine.
They can give a 20% discount if we have 5 orders. So, price is $195, shipped - regular is $250.
Only black CFs are available at this moment.

This is their site:

this is how it looks when I had it on my car.

and the matching front grill

Thanks for looking into this Eko but I don't know if that's such a great deal. I had talked to MyProjectCars before and they were going to give me one set for $200 so a group buy of 5 or more should warrant a bigger discount.

Besides from that, how was the fitment on yours? I've seen the one on Evosport's M5 at Bimmerfest and it was warping underneath and coming off. Not sure which company made theirs.

See my note above about the Evosport piece. VT was there with me and we noticed that it was warping underneath.

Wow, warping!!!? That sucks... Especially for such expensive small pieces with brandname like Vorsteiner
