Puaahaha... u guys guessed right... that is Tagalog (Filipino) for me cursing about how much it costs to throw a wedding.

btw- no offense to other black e60 owners... all phat rides, just a matter or preference.

i'm actually a korean who was born and raised in the Philippines before coming to the US for college... used to be in beantown, now in the big apple.

my fiancee has a z4 with the worst 16" stock rims... need to get her winter tires so plan on using the 16"s for winter... which means a legitimate reason to buy summer wheels! any suggestions? thinking M3 CSLs or mebbe M6 replicas?

EuroCarFan: that is the dopest black e60 yet. and i've seen a ton. including all the phat japanese modded e60s. the graphite color of the wheels are hott- IMO much better than black. and the tires are way beefy- makes a huuge difference in the appearance of the wheels themselves.

I have a white 545i sport and have been very disciplined in keeping it stock... so far. Gotta pay for the wedding and house first, know what I mean? Puta, and mahal naman!!!

I have to agree with MMafia- the graphite color of the wheels really sets them off on the black car. Much better than the high gloss full black ones-IMO.

I'm very close to pulling the trigger on the r10s myself-but I keeep flip-flopping from black to silver. I'm afraid if I go with black on the white car it will take away some of the class with the car. Too much contrast. Also the $700 difference in price is difficult to swollow. If my car was black, the black wheels would be the ones, no question.

Besides for black cars, I think black wheels also look great on white cars. What about white wheels?

BTW, in case you haven't seen it, here's a picture of a white E60 with black wheels from forum member, sticky: Man, white is soooo clean looking..

I would prefer the flat black of the r10s to the higher gloss black of those- no offense. I agree, black wheels look great on white also, but I think I my grow tired of them or it may make the car look too modded. Off topic, but I have my eyes on a 650 in a year- will I be able to use the 545 fitted r10s on a 650? I know you can use 11s on the rear of a 650, would 10s look too small? I have ruled white wheels out all together- not for me- silver or black.

I guess you do stand a chance of getting tired of black wheels on a white car. Trendy things usually don't last too long... hell, I might get tired of my black wheels for all I know.

I saw your other post about possibly getting the 650 and that picture of the 6 series convertible with the M Tech kit is Sweeeet!!! My friend has a black 6 series convertible with 20" Asantis but I forgot what size he has in the rear. I don't think Radenergie makes 11" width though.

so would the wheels fitted for a 545 be interchangable with the 650? as for tires my choices are b/w toyo t1rs or the nittos. Is there a big difference? should I consider other brands or are they all pretty much the same?

I would assume the wheels are interchangeable but I'm not 100% sure. As for tires, I haven't had the opportunity to test different brands or sizes so I can't comment. I've heard good things about all of them.

Well, I finally ordered the wheels...20" R-10's with the graphite finish. I also got the Toyo T1r tires. Can't wait. Should have them by the end of the month.
I'll post some pics when I have them on.

Thanks for the input and advise
