Wheels weight?
#1
Currently own a 545 with Sports Package. I've had the car for 14 months and I want to upgrade the look. Lot of wheels that I like but I dont want to kill the ride either. I am looking to go 19" or 20". Any suggestions or comments, plus or minuses, for BBS, Breyton, Hartge...etc, or even takeoffs.
Also, does anyone know the weight of the M5 wheel?

Good thread.
I reckon that style 101 rim is the lightes of all oem rims. But i might be wrong. Can someone confirm this? 1st clue is that it's a forged 2 pice rim.
I want to go also 19s or even 20s although 20s are too much for the roads we have here. And i don't really need that much bigger rim. A 19" rim is perfect in height, i only need a wider tire on the back, cuz sometimes i really need the grip with dsc off. Also bare in mind that in 20" you probably would go even lower with the tire wall, in the back maybe 25%.
I think BBS has some really light rims like the BBS LM or RS-GT but i like the best RXII since i like so much the rims on the E46 M3 CSL and that style is the only one that looks almost as those rims. Breyton...umm umm...better off with the Hartage ones.

19 " staggered seem to be the best for looks, ride, and grip ( IMHO).
Love them on my 545i.
