ok i've been on this board for a while now, but I still don't know what a Staggered or unstaggered set of tyres are? will anyone care to explain to me what is it. I plan on ordering my car within the next two months @ the very latest. The excitement keeps me up on this board till 1am in the morning when I have to wake at 7am for work, lol. I can't imagine when I actually order my car or when I'm told it's at the dealer!! I'm going to need some sleep medications sooner than later I presume.

I believe the 550 with Sport Package will have 245/40/18 and 275/35/18 tires. The 245 and 275 are in millimeters and designate the width. I have to settle for a 530i as I plan on buying my own place also at the end of the year (hopefully everything goes as planned). But hey it's still the car I want, unfortunately the sports package on the 530i doesn't come staggered also. it's 245/40 all around, but I found the website bmwwheels.com so I'll most likely get the 166 rims in 19" at a later time. I love those rims anyway and was going with the setup you also mentioned above.

But, if you really want a killer look go with 285/30/19 in the rears. Don't worry about rubbing, a lot here have 285s and are satisfied. I wish I did originally.
