My Ride: 535i M-Sport, Carbon Black Metallic/Natural Brown

Greetings,

I've done some searching on wheel spacers here and have some questions (that might seem a bit geeky, but I'd like to understand the physics of the situation). Here goes:

Assume 15mm rear spacers: My assumption is that this would beneficially affect handling as it gives the car an (albeit slightly) wider stance. However, considering that even the rear wheels carry a bit of negative camber, does the the increased distance from from the true hub amplify this camber and result in increased inside edge tire wear?

Assume 10mm front spacers: same assumption re: handling, but does the added track width amplify negative camber? Does it affect on-center steering feel or responsiveness? Cause fender rubbing in full lock turning?

Lastly: Best quality, lightweight yet reasonable brands to recommend?

Thanks in advance!

Camber angle and spacer size seem no relationship

The only drawback probably is accelerated wheel bearing wear if you use some really aggressive offset.
There's no formula to this but it'll wear out faster than if you had used OEM spec.

Go with rogue or H&R. New bolts are required depending on type of spacer you get. If it needs new bolts, then usually they will come with the spacers. Just verify that it does if needed.
