Hey guys, I?m considering installing 12mm spacers on my ride, 06 550i, sports, 18in rims OEM and was concerned that the tires may contact my body. 12mm is about 1/2 in and that would put my wheel under the body frame, will this be a problem?

You have to give some more detailed information about your current wheels. Which model are they?
The width and offset are important measures in this issue.
