Hey, folks, what's your opinion on using wheel spacers to improve the look? Positives? Negatives?

I used them no issues...I ended up with 10mm in the front and 15mm in the rear. And that made my 545 sport wheels sit flush with the wheel well and it looked great...couple posts around on the subject you may want to do a search

I put 12mm in the rear to make the wheels look uniformed and even with the front. I think it looks better and I was able to tell a difference while driving.

My Ride: 2010 E63 AMG -- Palladium Silver/Black.
Love this car but looking to switch things up to keep things fresh. 2nd AMG in a row, but toying with coming back into the BMW fold!

[/quote]I know you were asking someone else the question...but for what it's worth the spacers and bolts are manufactured by H&R...any H&R dealer should be able to help you...mine came from a place called Shoreline Motoring in Huntington Beach, CA

Mine are H&R as well. I bought mine at a local wheel shop here in Germany. Like ch7656 said, any dealer who carries there products should be able to order them.
What size are you looking at getting?

10mm or 15mm...they make a 12mm as well but I don't think it's hubcentric (I may be wrong)...but I do believe the 12mm will not work on our cars for some reason. At any rate I would use a straight edge from my frender to the ground...measure the distance from the straight edge to the tire (to get the gap)and then you can decide what size would be best for you.
For my 545 with sport wheels (I know these are for your winter set-up but I mention this for reference)...I started with just the 10's in the rear...and then moved the 10's to the front and put the 15 in the back.
