I have a 2008 535 MSport Carbon Black on order. I want to leave my 18" 135M's for a winter set-up and get 20" for summer. I want to make sure that I can get some good tires (PS2's or Contisports) so I have a limited budget for the wheels. I am planning on running 245/30R20's up front and 295/25R20's on back. I would like to get my set of wheels for under $2000. I know this seems pretty cheap for most of the wheels talked about on this forum, but that is what my budget dictates.

After a ridiculously long period of research. So many choices!! I have narrowed the field to 5 choices. I would really appreciate getting your opinions on looks and if you have any insight on performance issues that would be great. I would also be interested in hearing of any used options that you might know of. (Any highrollers thinking of updating , I could take your used wheels out of your hands.) There are a few used options on this forum right now, they are just out of my price range. I hope no one is offended if I have used their car to show the wheels. Thanks your input is appreciated.

TSW Estoril $1440

Beyern Mesh $1480

Petrol Metrix $1640

Axis Penta $1520

EXE Konkourse $1900

PS As a future new E60 owner, I find this forum to be crazy addictive. My work production has been slashed and my wife has now restricted me to one day a week.

I like the TSW.

You haven't seen the full impact of it yet!! I sold my car and said good bye to the fourm, yet I'm still back here. Hope no one is bothered by this.

IMO, I think it's better to buy better rims and pay less for tires. Especially on 20' inch rims, you are more likely to run into vibration issues, caliberation, or even odd shock wear if you buy rims that aren't high in quality.

NT555 and Koyos 1as(somethingosmethng) are great and a lot more affordable. There is negligible difference compared to those and Conti or Pilots (unless you track your car).

Just my two cents.

My choice: Axis penta. I prefer them above the others.

Good luck while choosing!

Hey Jarett,
I actually like all those wheels. They all look sporty. You may have a tough time cleaning the Beyern, Axis and EXE wheels though compared to the TSW and Petrol.

Good luck.

Those are all pretty nice IMO... would you consider some Luff M1's?

is your budget $2000 including tires? if not, get SEVAS wheels.
