On our 525, we've got the dark blue color and I'm looking for rims. Would chrome OEMs or black look better? Never seen black on blue, but maybe someone else has.

Black is always right, but what will you mama think.
Vast chrome rims will do it.

OEM's will keep your car runnin', running...

Black stock wheels are a big no go. Definitly.

These are the OEM's. The question on black was not OEM's. Just wanted to get an opinion as to whether or not black would look good against the dark blue.

i could imagine that those oems would look good against dark blue. for the black, i think i would have to see what kind of wheel it is first.

I just love your signature. I think this is like the 4th time I've said this, but I just think it's fantastic. Any chance you know this girl? I hope you do.

If you are using stock rims, keep it stock. Don't chrome it. Chrome oxidizes and leave ugly markings if not taken care well.

Take a look at M5 rims if you want to switch them out. Many people have them.

I agree -- every time I see it I stare for at least 30 seconds!

Now if I can get my mind back on the post topic....I have monaco blue and while I like black wheels on many cars, I really can't see them on mine. In general I'm not a chrome fan, but I think they probably look better with dark blue than any other color and the style you show seem to look nice chromed.

I'm heading toward 166's, but thinking they are a little boring. Go for something more flashy if that's your style!

Does the M5 166 rims fit my 2004-545 i ? and from original 18 to 19's what is the ride difference?
