What is the correct wheel offsets for a 2004 545i w/ sport package?

I'm interested in 19" velocity VMR -VB3's

They make multiple offsets to choos from.

I get confused on this topic..........What does the number represent and what does it mean if goes down and up? I bought a set of Vossens on here from a member and I think inside the rim for the fronts it says ET20 and the rear ET27. Now I like the flush look or aggresive some would say, is ET27 good enough of do I need spacers to make it stick out a bit? And if I do, what size, 5mm, 10mm, or 15mm. And do I need exted lugs once I put the spacers in? Thanks for the help guys.....

Do a search. You will find the offset for all BMWs.

The lower the number the further they stick out. et27 is not enough on the rear with 9.5" wide wheels. et20 is ok but you could go further to et12 i would say.

et27 and et20. et20 will stick out 7 mm further than et27

Thanks HTH, I think my rears are 10 or 10.5 and are ET27. Should I go with 12mm spacer to make it ET15. I read on one of the thread when doing a search that ET15 should be just right, flushed?
