I have a 2008 528i. The tires are 225/50/R17. I think that the wheels are 20mm offset, 17 by 7.5.
I have the opportunity to buy four wheels and winter tires. The seller says that they wheels are a 37 mm offset, 17 by 7.5.
Question-will these wheels fit my 528i and if not, what was the 37 mm offset from?
Picture attached is the wheels and tires that I can buy.

I'm guessing that the 37mm offset is for an XI fitment.

This means that the wheels will be 17mm nearer the suspension struts so you may find that they will not fit.

Your stock offset is indeed 20mm.

... and I believe the answer is that they won't fit in the front without spacers. I did quite a bit of research on this which suggested that they might fit in the rear but not in the front due to the inside of the wheel moving too far toward the center of the car.

The link below will offer some enlightenment on offsets.

Just say "no thank you" and continue your search.

Shifting 17mm inward is too much. Wheel will be too close to suspension components. Handling will be affected too, since your track will be 34 mm narrower.
