Hey all.

Have an '05 545 shod with standard 225/50/17 wheels and tires.

Have a friend with pristine '99 M3 wheels that are 235/45/17's.

Will they fit?

What are the risks?

thanks!!

Don't think they will fit - believe the offsets are wrong.

Call up Evosport or TireRack to confirm.

That tire size will fit, but the main concern will be whether or not the *wheels* fit. I have no idea if the older M3 wheels will fit an E60. If the hub size and lug pattern is the same and the offset is something reasonable, then yes, they will.

Thw offset on the Alloys is definately different on the 3 series.

I had bought some wheels with 3 series fitting on ebay and at the end had to persuade the seller to cancel the sale as they dont fit.... there are ways around it though (by changing the plate) but I wouldn't recommend it.
