Looking to buy 19's or 20's and am curious what the PERFECT offset is for our cars. I have an 05 530i....

depends on teh width of the alloys you are looking at...

19x8.5 front 19x9.5 rears.... they are 15mm in the front and 22mm in the rears - I'm just curious what a good setup is

Offsets are fine for the wheel sizes you want. No risk of rubbing.

I'm more interested in how flush they will look with the body of the car... I know some offsets look really "off" on cars and others look spectacular....

figure out which wheels you like then re post. There are so many options out there you have to be more specific to get a good response. If you are going to buy through a reputable store they will answer this question for you.

In general with that wheel size I think ET15 front and ET20 rear is a safe place to start. Remember 6mm is only about 1/4".

245/35/19 with 19x8.5 ET:15, you can leave alone. 275/30/19 with 19x9.5 ET:22, you can use 5mm spacers changing the offset to ET:17 without risk of rubbing and have the tires close to being flushed with the rear fenders.
