whats the offset for M166 wheels?

okay im not good in this... supposedly im fitting a rim that is

19x8.5J et+35mm
19x9.5J et+22mm

how much spacers i need to put to make it the same as the M166 wheels

You'll need 20mm spacers for the front. BTW, 20mm is a lot. You might be better off with 10mm spacers and use 255/40/19 tires. The rear is fine. No spacers needed.

I apologize for interjecting, but it's my understanding that M166's and M167's will fit any e60 without the use of spacers, as long as I use 245/35/19 & 275/30/19 rubber. I had explored this issue in a previous post and I came away with that understanding. Am I in error?

yes you are right, but xxterxx quoted us rim sizes/offsets that are not standard m5 and m6 specs...
