What wheels to get?
#1
I am currently debating getting new wheels for my 530i. I have the 123 18inch wheels from the sport package on now with dunlop runflats. I am thinking about the BMW 128 style versus the BMW 172 or 166 multispokes.
What do you all think about the five star look of the 128's? I saw a 550i yesterday with them and the m-tech bumpers and I was very impressed. However, the look of the 172's and 166's are equally nice.
I would appreciate other opinions and pics if you have them on your vehicles....Thanks guys!!!!

Model Year: 2007
I'd go w/ the 172 or the 128 as they are option wheel for sure as the 166 consider what come std for M5 and 167 on M6... the 128 has a classy look but I like 172 the most.

Where are you from, what color is your car?
If overthere the street are nice and 19" wheels do not bother I give you these cars:

I am in the US....Ohio. The roads are all pretty nice around here. I am going to go with the 172's. I am pretty sure about it. I love the look of those wheels. I have never seen a car in person with them, but think the pics are gorgeous.
The 167's are nice, but I like a little more meat to my spoke than that (hence the 128's). Although, as light as they are I bet it might make the car all the little bit quicker.
Now to decide on whether or not to add the paddle shifters....

As it was time to change the original run-flats, I decided to change the wheels and also ditch the run-flats, which frankly I did not like. So, I went for the 166s and shod them with Conti SportContacts. Am enjoying a much more enjoyable drive now - smoother, softer, and quieter. Looks good too!
