Hey Guys,
I wanted to wrap my roof with 3M cf-foil, but now I am a little doubtful about this whole thing.
I am gifted in wrapping things, I did a couple of things with my last car such as interior trim or diffusor, but a whole roof including shark fin is a bit hard to do alone..
A friend of mine is lacquerer and he could paint my roof black, I know he makes a good work.
But what if the black roof bores me in a couple of years?
my car:

Whats your opinion?

I don't know, bro... honestly, since you got the E61, how come you didn't just get the panorama roof?! ![Bashwall](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/bashwall.gif)
I would think that gloss black or matte black is better than the CF, but that's just my opinion.

I tell you why:
I didn't choose the pano roof because my last touring had it and I was disappointed with it. too much problems and it's proven that the pano roof let water flood the battery compartment, when the roof drain is blocked.Even the new GT has problems with it. I've read about one case ,when on a test drive the pano roof exploded whilst driving on the Autobahn at 180km/h..

matte black with some matte black grills would look awesome. sweet e61 btw, love the mtech kit. never saw it on the wagon. powdercoat the wheels matte to finish it off. nice.

paint it gloss back. After all with the paint job atleast you can polish it every so often to a high gloss finish. Obviously you can't do that with the wrap. That's if you go with the gloss black option rather then matt black.
