what are the possbilities to connect a normal DVD to the screen in the

I think your only possibility is to buy and install a NavWithTV unit, there are others but I haven't heard much about them, and then buy and install a DVD player. That's the only way I've heard how and that's what I did. It works great.

well there is another way,and that is to use a nother screen ,plus dvd drive or a tablet player.
why not a car computor.....with nav music tv radio etc.
i think a broader view might be a better bet than the constraints of the system we have.

Well yeah, but he asked how to do it on the screen up front, which I assume means the iDrive screen.
