What Percentage Is Your Tint?

My Ride: 2004 Black BMW 525i
I've got 25 percent on the back window and 35 percent on the sides. Window tint in LA is a fix it ticket which means if I got stopped and ticketed I'd have to remove the tint and take it to court/police for verification. I feel 35 percent on the sides isn't as noticable on a black car.

That's interesting... I had the exact same 5% rear/side and 35% front setup in my old E46... the car was silver and I thought it clashed real bad... I didn't realize how big of a difference it is until I had it done and then I didn't feel like removing or changing anything... don't you find that the difference is really incredible?

You might have misunder stood me. I meant that I found the difference in tint to be not attractive... i.e. I would not do the 5%/35% setup again. Some people would ask on sunny days "why is the front of the car not tinted"?
